Packed for Puerto Rico

I’m all set!  I’m double checking my suitcases and carry-ons tonight, then it’s off to the airport for my early morning flight!  Here’s hoping all goes well.  Just for fun, here’s a little perspective as to just how far I’m going:

Overall, I’m excited to learn about the natural wildlife and habitats of Puerto Rico through daily art-making!  I’m also really interested in meeting the rest of my group and learning more about the concepts of bioart from our group leaders.  As for materials, I’m bringing my camera, watercolor crayons, conte crayons, charcoal, sketching pencils, colored pencils, and yes, even crayons.  I’m most excited to try out my new waterbrush though – perfect for watercolor painting on the go!

It’s going be a lot of work over my spring break, but definitely worth the portfolio booster, learning experience, exploration, and networking opportunities. ^_^
